Find Calm Amidst the Chaos: Yoga Nidra or Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) Sessions for Election Wellness.
In these daily sessions we’ll connect with our breath and experience a deeply relaxing, nervous system resetting, physically healing practiced called Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra translates to Yogic Sleep, and we’ll do just that! You’ll find a comfortable space to lie down, or sit in a supportive chair, and rest while experiencing a Yoga Nidra guided meditation-style practice into the inner landscape and into the brain waves you visit during deep sleep. But, in Yoga Nidra, you might not actually sleep but be in what is described as conscious, deep sleep. In these brain wave states the body heals, restores and relaxes similar to a deep sleep cycle.
A 20 minute Yoga Nidra guided meditation-style practice equals about a 2 hour nap.
