Blue Water Berry Splash with Cascade Ice Water
The awesome team over at Cascade Ice Water invited me to participate in their Cascade Ice Creations Contest. Pick a water flavor and CREATE a drink.
How could I say no to that?
Cascade Ice Water flavor of choice for my creative inspiration? Cascade Ice Blueberry Watermelon. The delightfully Summer-enticing pink color and the refreshing fruit flavor drew me in.
I was inspired by a BIG pull for the warmth of Summer and dreaming of sparkling water poolside and a crazing for strawberry. Bring it all together and add a little “spirit” and you get Blue Water Berry Splash!
I started my creative drink dreaming with fresh blueberries placed in tap water and frozen into ice trays. Magical blueberry ice cubes were ready the next morning.
I’ve had Lavender Salt waiting in the cupboard from last year’s visit to the Lavender Festival in Sequim and the lure of “purple” texture rimmed glasses from a recent visit to Victoria, BC inspired a Lavender Salt rimmed cocktail glass.
Fill a glass with the blueberry cubes and Cascade Ice Blueberry Watermelon Water, add vodka and a splash of watermelon liquor.
Sit back, sip lazily, dream of warm Summer days by the water.
They will be here before you know it!
