WHAT IS YOGA NIDRA?

Yoga Nidra refers to a state of conscious, deep sleep, going beyond deep relaxation to a place of internal peace and quiet.

 

In today’s world of always on, who doesn’t need peace and quiet?

 

Most anyone can participate in Yoga Nidra as it’s traditionally done lying down or in a supported seat and utilizes guided relaxation, breathing techniques and imagery. A thirty minute Yoga Nidra practice is equal to about 2 hours of typical sleep. Think of it as your new afternoon coffee break or your “adulting nap.”

 

Truly, adulting never felt so good!
