February 2025 Small Print Collector Series 8×12 Archival Print ~ Softly Goes The Day

$47.00$107.00

Softly Goes The Day is a Modern Coastal Collection Impressionist image from Alki Beach in West Seattle. I’ve always loved the soft colors in this image and the combination of the elements. The water of the Puget Sound with its perfect reflection of sky color. The earth represented by the blue on the horizon which are the Olympic Mountains! The fire of the sun’s orange glow as it disappeared behind the mountains. The layers of colors and clouds that paint the sky.

I think it’s quite swoon worthy and a perfect image to cool our nerves and welcome beauty and awe!

Fine Art Paper Prints

Prints are created using eco-friendly fine art paper and are mounted on archival white artboard, providing a firm surface to protect prints.

For my archival quality fine art paper I have chosen a cotton-based paper to help promote my goal of being eco-friendly. The cotton used to manufacture this paper is not from the puffy white flower that we all recognize as cotton, but rather the linters, or byproduct, from the textile industry. Textiles are made using the longest, highest-quality fibers – the rest is discarded. This wasted cotton is salvaged and used to manufacture this cotton paper. Nothing could be more eco-friendly than reusing a product that is considered waste and would all end up in the trash. Prints will stand the test of time and bring color and sanctuary to your wall.

NOW AVAILABLE! Framed print option features my signature style white frame and anti-glare acrylic front.

Why do I frame in white? I frame in white because it gives my images a sense of space and freedom, allowing them (and the viewer) to breathe and feel expansive. The white border, paired with the white frame, creates a seamless transition, making the image appear weightless and infinite, as if it floats in its own realm, inviting the viewer to experience boundless nature.
